White Walls
Louis Cheskin in 1947 said, “White walls, as we know, are an optical strain and psychological hazard.”
It has long been noted that the psychological reaction to white wall finishes is one of bored disinterest.
White need not be used as a predominant color; there are too many better alternatives. Often, it is used as a matter
of expediency, or by those not yet sure of themselves in their approach to color. White is considered a safe color,
evoking neither a positive or negative reaction.
Color and Architecture
The effective and creative use of color enhances the experience of built environments.
Creative Color Consultants works closely with, builders, developers and luxury home owners to create a palette of
interior and exterior colors that adds impact, enhances curb appeal and distinguishes built environments from the predictable
and mundane.
